Hi everyone my friend and I are heading to Benidorm for 5 days at the end of June. We are both female, in our 40s and not quite ready for the knitting patterns just yet, we love lively pubs with good music etc, can anyone recommend any? We are staying close to the square...cannot wait!!!
Benidorm tends to be more for the over 40's so you will find lots of bars. In the new town (Levante) places like the Western Bar, Cafe Benidorm, Stardust and all the smaller bars are great fun with live music and dancing. Most are open until the early hours with some open until dawn. The old town is more cultured with tapa's bars, resturants and smaller more cosy bars with great entertainment. Pop into the Babylon Hotel in the old town and come and say hello.
I would not agree with 'Benidorm' is for the 40+ it is for all ages with plenty to do, i have been going now for 8 years and one of the reasons we love Benidorm is the varierty of age groups. Zodiac Bar is the place to be in my opinion from 9pm-11pm you will see at least 2 of the top 5 performers in Benidorm there is of course a diffrence in prices, 'however you have to be in it to see it'.
Would it be fantastic idea if a few of us could organise such an event, there are plenty of gigs in the UK however it would be fantastic if we could arrange such an event in wonderful Benidorm perhaps a Bank holliday.......!!!! there are plenty of venues to hand
Why not make it on the Friday after November Fiesta week? The Brits have added the fancydress event on the Thursday, so something to do on the Friday after would be good.
